The pink house

This amazing house is in the town of New Berlin, NY (population 1,129.) The locals pronounce the town name with the accent on the first syllable of Berlin. In spite of its appearance, this house is not abandoned. It is the most elaborate Mansard Style house I have ever seen. The mansard roof is slate, with wrought iron cresting that looks like lace. I would guess that it was built in the early 1870s. …and it is PINK!!!!
